We're in Brighton Colorado building a shed for our clients. We are building this shed on a concrete slab. We are using a pressure treated 2x4 for the rim that will be fastened down to the concrete with 1/2 inch bolts that we fastened to the concrete. Stay tuned for the next video as we show you the simple framing and roof installed over the concrete slab.

Steps to building a shed on a concrete pad
1) Mark a layout of the shed and square it off from corner to corner
2) Mark the holes to be drilled
3) Drill 1/2 inch holes 3 inches deep into the concrete
4) Use air to blow out and clean holes of concrete dust
5) Use a concrete epoxy glue to set the 1/2 x 5in. galvanized bolts
6) Let glue set for 2-3 days
7) Fasten 2x4 pressure treated rim with 1/2in. nuts and washers
8) Build each 2x4 wall to square
9) Build 2x4 roof frame to square
10) Install 1/2in. osb sheeting to exterior of framing
11) Install door and window
12) Install trim & siding throughout exterior walls
13) Install roofing felt, flashing, and roofing shingles
14) Caulk and paint
