How to Build This Glass Railing

A customer asked me to build a new railing upstairs. I designed and built the railing out of basic materials and give you a walk-thru "How to build this glass railing".
Using 2"x4"s and 1"x4"s I layered the materials piece by piece. I used 3-1/2'' screws and framing nails to attach the 2x4s to the framing under the floor and 15 gauge 2" brads for the 1"x2". I measured 3" from each side and installed 2x2 oak for the spindles. I sanded everything with 100 grit sandpaper removing sharp edges and finished it off with 150 grit sandpaper.
I brushed on a layer of primer and 2 layers of Sherwin-Williams. I installed the glass with strips of 1"x2" pine on both sides and smaller strips between the glass to secure it. A little caulk here and there. Two more layers of paint, and there you have it.
