Description from the creator

There is no need to purchase third party software to burn a CD or DVD. Follow these steps to burn a disk using your Mac OS X. (For this example I used “OS X El Capitan”, but the steps should be very similar if you are running a different version.

How To BURN a CD or DVD using Apple/Mac’s OS X – Finder

Step 1:
Insert a blank CD or DVD into your Mac’s drive

If the following window appears click “OK”

This window did not appear on my desktop

This disk icon should be visible on your desktop

Step 2:
If you do not see the finder on your top bar

Click any blank area on your desktop, to activate your finder

Step 3:
Open a “new finder window” by going to file/ new finder window

On the left menu click on the “untitled DVD.fpbf “ to activate it

Step 4:
Drag the items you wish to burn into the “Recordable DVD” section

If you like you can check the file size by right clicking on your mouse and selecting “get info” (in my case I am burning a DVD with 4.7gb of storage space)

Step 5:
When you are done selecting your files you can click on the “Burn” button located on the upper right hand corner of the “untitled DVD.fpbf” window

Step 6:
Name your CD or DVD

Step 7:
Select the burn speed, for better results slowest speed is recommended
(in my case it was 6x)

Step 8:
Click on the Burn button

To eject the disk
• drag the disk icon to the trash or
