Candling chicken eggs during the first two or three days of incubation can be a frustrating experience, because although there's a lot going on in the egg, it's nothing you can see with the naked eye from outside the shell - even using the best candler.

In this video I show you how to candle using a candler and Ovascope, and look at what you can - and can't - see at this early stage of incubation.
