How to change a spark plug on an ATV
We are going to swap out a spark plug on a Yamaha Raptor 660R today because a big dummy got it all wet and muddy. This is a very simple and easy maintenance task and will require very minimal tools and time. This garage project should only take you about 10 - 15 minutes. Make sure you get a pre-gapped spark plug or you will have to gap it yourself. I use the Iridium plugs because they last much longer and run better in your machine. This project is also good to do every couple rides to keep your ATV running the best it can.
*For a Yamaha Raptor 660 the spark plug gap should be between .031 and .035*
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tools and parts you need:
Deep Socket (18mm if you have a Raptor)

Ratchet

Spark Plug Gap Tool (If you don't buy a pre-gapped)

Spark Plug (This link is for a Raptor 660 Plug)
