How To Change a Travel Trailer Tire (single axle)

If you have a travel trailer, especially one with a single axle, chances are that at some time, you will have a flat tire. Do you have everything you need to change it? Will you be stuck at the side of the road waiting for a someone to help you? I decided to try changing my tire before I actually needed to, just to make sure I had all of the tools necessary to do it right. Good thing I did! I ran into a couple of issues that would have stopped me dead in my tracks if I didn't plan ahead of time.
