Description from the creator

In this tutorial we will change our command prompt font from the Registry Editor
When you open CMD and go to properties you will only see two fonts available.
So now lets see what is the current font in our command prompt.

Now at first open cmd from the windows search menu. Then right click on the title bar of command prompt window. Then click to properties.

See! We have only 2 fonts listed there.

Now open Registry editor.
Press and Hold Window key and press "R".
Then type regedit and press enter.

Now go to below settings
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Console\TrueTypeFont

Here you can see 0 for Lucida Console and 00 for Consolas. We can create another entry by right clicking on the right side then navigate to the New --) String. Then type 000. Double click on created entry and enter the value as "Monaco" as I have already downloaded the font earlier.
Now as you have seen I already changed the value.
We need to see now how we can change the font settings in Windows Command Prompt.
Go to windows search by pressing Window key then type "cmd" and press enter.

Now from the title bar right click on it and go to properties.

You can see the Monaco font is listed there. Select it and change the font size then click on Apply button.

See we have changed the font of our command prompt.
