Description from the creator

Most domestic/international airplanes have AC outlets. For economy, there is AC outlet under the seats if you look under your seat carefully. Now, depending on the airplane and airlines you are using, these AC outlets support different maximum wattage. While newer airplanes support beyond 100 watts, most older ones support around 70-75 watts maximum. For high performance laptops that use high-wattage(100 watts or more) adapters, it may not work if the airplane AC outlet does not support it. In those cases, you can carry a smaller 60-watt USB Type C adapter that will allow you to charge your laptop at a decent rate. While not as fast, you will still be able to charge the laptop fine. Most newer laptops support USB Type C charging or charges by USB Type C. If you don't have a high performance laptop, you should be fine but if you do have a gaming laptop or laptop like the Surface Book 2, this method will allow you to continually use your laptop. I use the Aukey 60-watt USB C PD Charger, you can get it here:
amzn.to/30DFavt Highly recommended as it is a good USB C PD charger that's small yet does not heat up like other similar products. Also re-charges Pixel 4 XL much faster than stock charger that it comes with. This has saved me countless times as I always love editing 4K videos on the airplane. In this particular trip, I was flying Business class on Thai Airways and it did not support my 100-watt laptop charger. But luckily, I had brought my Aukey 60-watt charger and was able to edit this video easily. This won't give you 100% charge obviously but it's still going to give you enough charge so you will be able to use your laptop for many many hours no problem. Also when lunch or dinner is served on longer 10+ hour flights, you can turn the laptop off and it will re-charge very fast to full. This video was 100% filmed and edited while in the airplane. If you have a gaming laptop, this should also allow you to play video games on your flight. #Airplanes #laptops #LaptopCharging *Disclaimer - I may earn a small affiliate commission for link to any products from this YouTube channel.
