We were able to get rid of burned stains on our pizza stone with simple household ingredients and no scrubbing at all. We were almost ready to throw it away, but now it looks like a totally different stone, with almost no spots. While cleaning, the solution evaporates in the heat leaving no smell of bleach. Since then we’ve made bread on the stone using parchment paper and found no smell or taste of chlorine.
