Make sure you are cleaning the BBQ when it has cooled down, we feel the need to say this as a public service announcement.

There really is a lot to know about cleaning your Q. You need to know your type of grills (stainless steel, cast iron or enamelled), what kind of gas you use (propane or gas hookup) and that's just the beginning. The video walks you through some tools and some demos, the blog goes into great detail.

I spent a lot of time speaking with BBQ experts to get the info, and reviewed a lot of user guides for different brand BBQs, so take this as well-researched info.

To WIN a Grillr, leave us a comment, we're drawing for 10 of them: One a day for the next 10 days (starting August 7, 2012 12 AM EST and ending August 17th 11:59 PM EST). Contest details can be found on the blog.

Good luck and let us know your questions!
