How To Cook Rice In Microwave | Step By Step Guide For Beginners :

Hey friends, for some strange reason the audio of this video went out of sync. My original video is completely fine, so looks like there was a problem while YouTube uploaded the video. Hopefully it gets resolved, else I'll try to re-upload the video.

So I am writing below the complete procedure here :

Step 1 : Take 1 cup of Basmati rice
Step 2 : Wash the rice thoroughly 4 to 5 times
Step 3 : Soak the rice in fresh water for 30 minutes
Step 4 : Drain the water
Step 5 : Take a microwave safe Glass bowl.
Step 6 : Add 2 cups of water to the rice
Step 7 : (Optional) Add 1 teaspoon oil. You can add butter or salt as well.
Step 8 : Give it a swirl. And cover it.
Step 9 : Microwave it for 10 minutes on Maximum power.
Step 10 : Take it out of the oven. And keep it covered as it is for another 15 minutes.
Step 11 : Serve
