Description from the creator

In this detailed tutorial, I show you how to apply a rich and deep, glistening bronze finish to almost any object. It is fun, easy and extremely rewarding to do this finish on your creations. Tool and Supply List (Updated 2021)

Golden GAC 100 Acrylic Primer and Extender is very good to use on clay sculptures before painting them black. And depending on the type of material you are wanting to finish with the faux bronze - using the appropriate primer is a really good idea.
Black Paint with a flat or matte finish - Krylon flat black acrylic spray paint is really good. For a brush on paint, I recommend Utrecht Studio Series acrylic paint in Deep Black available here: DickBlick.com
Johnson Paste Wax available at most hardware stores and online here: acehardware.com/
Pearl Ex Pigments in the color: Antique Bronze - plazaart.com/
A small paint brush
A soft cloth - Gentle rub the sculpture 10 minutes after applying the wax for a beautiful sheen.

As an alternative to the bronze powder used in this tutorial, I suggest using Pearl Ex Pigments in the color Antique Bronze - That is what I use all the time now and it is easier to get and far more affordable. You can get it here: plazaart.com/ and you can get Johnson Paste Wax here: acehardware.com/

Also, give your finished piece a gentle buffing with a soft cloth to bring out a gorgeous sheen.

As an alternative for spray paint, use a brush on acrylic paint in black with a flat or matte finish. I use Utrecht Studio Series Acrylic paint in the color Deep Black.

Sealing you piece after the Bronze finish is complete is not necessary. I have never had any problem with this finish rubbing off or wearing. And please note: This finish is recommended for indoor enjoyment.

Please Note: Some kinds of paints contain solvents that might damage certain types of clay and other materials. Always check for compatibility before applying these finishes to your creations.
