Very simple word for word, frame by frame instruction on how to start your own Amazon accout.

You'll need this to sign into any Amazon devices whether its a Kindle, FireTV or Stick.

If you bought a modified device and it has a amazon account in it already you can go to settings, then my account, then click on the account and choose to deregister.

Also you may choose to sign in and create a parental controls in case you have a credit card linked to your account. My suggestion is to just create a family account with your last name and 'family' as your name. Don't add a credit card and you'll never be charged for paid apps on your device.
