Illustrator Lynne Chapman shows sheets of her original sketches and explains how she creates different animal personalities, bringing them to life as picture book characters. Using the drawings of the various animals from her book Jungle Grumble, she shows how photographic reference helps to identify key features and talks you through subtle ways to adjust facial proportions to suggest different character types.
