This is an overview of user scripts for firefox and chrome extensions and how to create them using the tools that are easily available.

I go through examples of scripts and then specifically how to go about creating one. Using jquery I provide an example of how to extract title attributes from the image tag and add them to the table based on position.

Using the same methodology I change the css border around another table cell based on a comparison. In this example I show how i use firebug, notepad plus, jsfiddle, jslint and jsmin.

This is high level and if there is interest(youtube likes/comments) in specific areas I will create new videos.
