Description from the creator

Watch to learn how to crochet a star!

This video assumes you already know the following stitches:
Single Crochet (SC)
Double Crochet (DC)
Half Double Crochet (HDC)
Chain (CH)
Slip Stitch (SL ST)
Magic Circle (tutorial here: youtu.be/cPlCNVrsyI4 )

So, I don't spend a lot of time showing the detail of each stitch, but I'll show you where to place them to make them form a star shape. Enjoy!

I use a H8/5mm crochet hook and worsted weight #4 yarn and my star measures 2.5 inches from point to opposite point. Use a smaller hook or lighter yarn for a smaller star. Use a larger hook or thicker yarn for bigger star.

PATTERN
Begin with Magic Circle. CH 1.
RND1: SC 10 in center of circle. Pull beginning yarn tight to close the circle. Join with a SL ST in top of first SC.
RND2: CH 4. Sk one CH and SC in second CH from hook. HDC in next stitch. DC in next stitch. SK one SC from RND 1 and join with a SL ST. Repeat 4 times. Finish off and weave in end(s) (If you will be attaching it to another crochet item, leave a longer ending tail and don't weave it in).
