How to- Crochet V stitch blanket/ beginners blanket

In this tutorial you will learn how to crochet this lovely V stitch. This stitch makes ideal first project for beginners. It is great for those who are looking for a project that looks great but works up very quickly.

This quick and easy to crochet stitch makes beautiful baby blankets and many other projects.

For this project I have used DK yarn, however you can do this simple stitch with any yarn you wish to use and use the recommended size of crochet hook for that yarn.

This video uses US terminology. US single crochet is the same as UK double crochet.
