Toxic parents create toxic relationships and changing that dynamic can be really difficult. I share some tips for dealing with a toxic parent as well as personal experience. Toxic parents can be mentally and emotionally draining, so it is important to take the necessary steps toward securing a healthier you. It is not always the goal to detach or separate from you parents, but I do hope that by trying these steps and hearing my personal experience will help you deal with your toxic parent.
