You can easily stop pop ups and redirects in the Mozilla firefox browser by going to the privacy and security section in settings of firefox. First of all update your browser to the latest version. Go to settings of firefox. Click on privacy and security from left hand side. Scroll till you see "permissions" section. If there is a checkmark in front of pop up windows option then remove it. It will disable the pop up windows and you will be able to see pop ups from a few websites.

In order to enable it you can again tick in front of it once the work is finished. You should also check your ad blockers. You need to disable the pop up settings in ad blocker plugins and addons too.
