Description from the creator

A LITTLE LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES - I must admit this video was filmed way before lockdown, but I've been meaning to share this DIY/Craft idea with you for a while.
Introducing my mini upholstery makeover that I did with our bed headboard, using my Dotty Bird interior fabric (available to buy per meter).

Rather than throwing our headboard out and getting a new one, I took on the challenge to re-upholster it instead. After all, I like the side and the shape of it. I just didn't like the fabric.
So with a staple gun, my interior fabric and my secret weapon (find out what that is on the video) I got to work...and you kow what it was so simple to do!

If you're up for a DIY challenge and have wanted to have a go at your own (basic) upholstery, then give this video a watch. You can also find my step-by-step guide over on my blog - bit.ly/LFDIYheadboardblog, to help you with each step thoroughly.

If you like my interior fabrics, send me a DM contact me through my website - laurafelicity.co.uk/ and I'll send you all the info you need to have these fabrics apart of your re-upholster makeover.

Would you give this DIY craft a go? Or leave it to the pros?
Let me know in the comments below.

(Please bare in mind I'm not a pro upholsterer, just someone trying to find easy and effective ways to re-purposes items in my home, with my own fabrics that I want to share with you.)
