Description from the creator

Warrior 3 and half moon are both balancing poses. Born Again Yoga breaks down the two poses to explain the differences.

Warrior III pose checklist:
Hips square to the ground (not stacked). Think of lifting the inner thigh of the raised leg and dropping the outer hip down to remain level with the standing hip.
Core engaged.
Lifted leg and torso make a straight line.
Back foot flexed and pointed downwards.
Arms can be on a prop (blocks/chair), prayer hands, or other variations.
Have fun balancing!

Half Moon pose checklist:
Start with standing foot faced towards the top of the mat.
The lifted foot will be turned out 90 degrees and flexed.
Create a line of energy with the lifted leg and torso moving as one line. (Think teeter-totter)
Chest and hips remain open to the side of the mat and ideally try to stack them.
Shoulder blades in one straight line, flat against the wall (or imaginary wall)
Gaze upwards at the thumb nail. (if balance is too challenging with lifted gaze can look downwards).
