How To Downgrade Iphone/ Ipod 4.2.1 to 4.0-3.1.2 without SHSH files

This trick only works with iphone 2g, 3g, ipod touch 1g, Ipod touch 2g (NON-MC model only) and works with the most current itunes and firmware

Directions:

1. Download Firmware (Download firmware: felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ ) or for ipod touch 2g 3.0 firmware: megaupload.com/?d=7EWGFPY5 and for iPod touch 2g 3.1.2 firmware megaupload.com/?d=VNYD4VH0

2. Put device in DFU Mode and Restore to ios 3.0

3. Jailbreak with redsn0w 9.2 (Download: mediafire.com/?8v1w1iwjns3lu5o )

4. Make a custom 3.1.2 Ipsw with sn0wbreeze (Download: hotfile.com/dl/113099151/8285160/sn0wbreeze-2.0…) or pwnage tool for mac (Download: rapidshare.com/files/292359348/PwnageTool_3.1.4… )

5. Restore your idevice using the custom firmware 3.1.2 you made. If you get an error while restoring to the custom firmware, use an application called ireb before the restore. (Link: mediafire.com/?5qd99w0c3g55n0i )

6. If cydia doesn't load then go to jailbreakme.com on your idevice
