Description from the creator

This video will show you how to easily download and save your Look Back video from Facebook. You need these two things:
Copy the code to use from here: gist.github.com/akshatmittal/8802537
Download Google Chrome here: google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/

Answers to Questions:
* If you are getting an error, like "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'split' of undefined," that means your video is not available right now. You need to be able to view your video at facebook.com/lookback for this download option to work. If you have viewed your video before, you may have done something to make it unretrievable. See below how to retrieve it from your cache.

* You can use any browser console for this method. It does not have to be Google Chrome. The video is a walk through with Google Chrome, but it will work with any browser console in any OS. In short, if you know what you're doing, do it dude!

* If you share and then delete your video, you will only be able to see six pictures. There is a way to retrieve your video from your cache (see below.) If you find any other way to get your video back, please let us know.

* Depending on how much content you have shared and how long you have been on Facebook, you will either see the personalized video, a collection of photos or a simple thank-you card.

* Facebook said the videos will only be available for about a month unless you share them on your Timeline. Only you will be able to view your video if you don't share it. You cannot share it outside of Facebook, unless you download a copy of it.

* Facebook has said if the clip contains posts you'd prefer to keep private, you can edit them via an "Edit Your Movie" button. Please leave a comment if you are able to see this option.

* It appears some users have tried to spruce up their Lookback montages by going into Facebook and deleting photos. Do not do this. At the moment, doing so appears to brick Facebook's splicing software, making your video unretrievable.

How to retrieve your video from your cache:

This method only works if you have seen your video before, but now it's gone. You can use other alternative methods for viewing and retrieving your cache. Here is a method that will work with Google Chrome. This will work if you previously viewed your video with Google Chrome:

1 - Type about:cache on your chrome search bar (provided that you don't clear history/cache after you close your browser)

2 - You will see a list of links on your window, just click Ctrl F or ⌘ F to and search for "lookback"

3 - Look for the link that will have something like lookbackvideo7-a.akamaihd.net/hvideo. It may not be exact. It may say lookbackvideo5 or another number. Click that link.

4 - After you clicked the link, you will see on your window a bunch of text with white background. Ignore that. LOOK AT YOUR URL BAR. You should be able to see something like this:

chrome://view-http-cache/lookbackvideo7-a.akamaihd.net/hvideo-ak-prn

DELETE THIS PART ONLY: chrome://view-http-cache/

Your URL will now start with lookbackvideo. Then press enter. You should be able to see your video again and be able to save it by doing Ctrl S or "Save Page As."

If you have viewed other's Look Back Videos, you will have cached those as well. Keep going through your cache until you find the lookbackvideo that is yours.

If you continue to have other issues, please let me know in the comments.
