How to draw a flamingo with soft pastels | Easy drawing tutorial

This is the short version of the tutorial that I created for my Patreon. In it I will show you how to create a beautiful abstract water surface on sandpaper (I use 800 grit in this tutorial) and how to portray a flamingo without going into too much details which adds a fresher look to the artwork.

You can use any dark colored sanded surface (Clairfontaine Pastelmat, Canson MiTeintes Touch, UART). I suggest using harder brands of pastels (such as Rembrandt) on sanded papers as softer pastels will saturate the tooth of the paper a lot faster than the harder ones.
