Now we know there are CEOs that don’t take into account their dressing, but if you play the part, why not look the part too! 

* Dressing for the situation  
Now understanding the occasion should be your prime focus here. Be it your industry overall or just an event, you can never be overdressed!

* Colours 
Every colour has a psychology attached to it. Dark colours generally have an authority attached to them. Dark greys and blacks should be your go-to colour palette. Navy can also be used here as it mixes formality and approachability in the right way!

* Choosing the right fit
Even if you’re the richest man on the planet sporting the most expensive suit but its hanging from the shoulders or your trousers are baggy as compared to your frame, the whole authority that comes with a suit goes for a toss 

* Shoes 
Moving to accessories, shoes are an important part of your attire and must be worked on. to compliment your outfit, both in terms of colour as well as formality 

* Gadgets 
Your gadgets need to play an important part too cause you’re carrying them all the time while travelling and working for the day and since they’re a vital part of your life, don’t let them overshadow your personality like carry a really smart phone or letting a Bluetooth headset hanging out of your ear. 

A few other things that you should keep in mind men, is that 

* Always dress the same level as the other people in your room or above 
* Keep a good understanding of different attires, like business and business casuals 
* Take foreign customs into consideration while you’re meeting your international counterparts 
Trust us, Gentlemen, being aware of little things can work wonders for each one of you by letting you portray the image you’ve always wanted to!
