In this tutorial, we're going to take these beautiful flowers and press them into old books to use for your crafting projects.

If you are like us, then you like to save everything and that includes flowers! It's so easy to dry flowers without spending any money because you'll have most of these supplies on hand already

So when you're drying flowers go through them and pick out the best buds and flowers that aren't too wilted or past the point where they just don’t look very nice. And it's very important that they are completely dry.

And then you'll decide how long you want the flowers. You can cut the stems as long or short as you like. The flowers in this video will be used for some card making tutorials coming up on our Channel so keep watch for that!

Next, take some wax paper and cut it so that it will fit into a book when you fold it in half. Then arrange your flowers so that they are not touching. Close the book up carefully so that the flowers don’t move around.

Now you are going to stack some more heavy books onto the books with the pressed flowers and let them sit for three weeks.

After three weeks, they will be nice and dry.

There are just so many uses for dried flowers, you can use them for card making, ornaments, gift-wrapping or decoupage, and even pressed flower art.
