Make sure you have less of the item then the amount of scrolls so like if you have 3 scrolls then have 1 or 2 of the item. It doesn't matter if you duplicate the same item more then once like duplicate the item then pick up one of that item you duplicated then do the process again so this is good if you want ulimited lock picks or something. Also if you are on pc and the oblivion gets laggy from this just pick up the items you duplicated.
P.S:This works on almost any item except some enchanted ones.
