Description from the creator

When I first tried to make speckled yarn (youtube.com/watch?v=miS55HqKQv0), I used an eyedropper and diluted food coloring mixture. I knew that I could make more vibrant patches of color if I used more concentrated dye, but I wondered if there was a different way I could apply the dye to the yarn to get even smaller patches of color. In the following video, I use a fork dipped into dry Kool-aid powder to create tiny specks of color on a wool/nylon blend. Watch to see how it turns out!

Yarn Base - Bare Stroll Glimmer from KnitPicks (100g, 70% superwash merino, 25% nylon, 5% stellina)
Dye - Kool-Aid Powder
Heating Method - Steaming in the microwave
