Description from the creator

Protect your garden building from the British weather with our step-by-step guide to felting. In this video, we show you exactly what to do to achieve a professional, watertight finish that will keep your shed dry and sturdy for years to come.

Follow this step-by-step guide:

- Clean the timber: We remove any debris and old nails to achieve a smooth, flat base for the new felt.
- Measure and cut: We allow for a 50mm overhang at the edges to achieve effective water run-off.
- Layer the panels: We overlap the felt pieces to achieve a watertight seal that prevents leaks.
- Nail the edges: We secure the felt with galvanised clout nails to achieve a wind-resistant finish.
- Fix the trim: We install the barge boards to achieve a neat, professional look.
