How to fish an Alabama Rig (Umbrella Rig) for summertime Bass. We're at the Butler Chain of Lakes in Windermere, Florida. It's super hot, and the Bass are chasing minnows and small Shad all over the place. The day before I filmed this video, my we caught 2 big Bass on Flukes. On this day, we switched it up. No big fish, but we sure did catch a lot. My Alabama Rig / A-Rig / Umbrella Rig of choice was the Flash Mob Jr. with chrome blades. I rigged them up with some small, pearl colored swim baits on 3/16 ounce jig heads. Most of our fish were caught in open water that was 12' - 25' deep. And as always.... We caught quite a few fish dead sticking weightless flukes.
