Many GM vehicles from this era had problems with moisture/water getting inside and rotting the connections and bearings of the blower motor. This causes the blower motor to seize up and stop working after several years. If you haven't had a chance to fix it yet and you really need it to work (because it's too cold or hot in the car), try this fix. It'll get you by until you can properly repair or replace the blower motor.
