Description from the creator

Tools and instructions:

Tools:

kitchen scissors
manicure scissors
pincette
lighter (for frayed ends of shoelaces—you know, the ones you can't jam through those tiny holes)

Instructions:

1. Remove damaged lace
2. Unstitch velcro thingy and save it with the lace tightener
3. Start lacing your boots.
I bought new lace in Fishing/Hunting store. Used for harpoon hunting :D It is 1mm thick ( original lace was 2mm) And it is easier to fit. Works as good as original.
4. Fit your lace tightener with manicure scissors or pincette. It took me a while to squeeze through.
5. Run one end of lace though velcro thingy and make a knot.
I made this one youtube.com/watch?v=_68XA7Bbqec
it came out thick,so there was not need to stitch vicro back together.
