How to fix Cannot Obtain IP Address on PS4 Error Code CE 33984 7 (Easy Method)

Do you want to know how to fix the PS4 Error Code CE-33984-7 on your PS4??? This error code tells you that your PS4 cannot obtain an ip address and it displays under the test internet connections section that your IP address has failed. Your IP address could be a static IP address, which is a non changing IP address. This could be set in your PS4 network settings. Instead of entering your IP address settings in manually, lets confirm its set to automatic.

It's best to have your PS4s IP address settings set to auto matic, so your IP address can change. When your IP address changes, this is called having a dynamic ip. Also, clear the cache on your PS4, Router and Modem. Leave them unplug for 30 seconds to a minute. If your trying to get your modem to reassign your PS4 a new IP address, leave it unplug for at least 15 minutes or overnight. The longer the better. Perhaps, your IP address is banned on your PS4 for some reason?
