Do you need to know how to fix similar large cracks in your wall? Taping in with paper tape is an important part of getting your drywall plasterboard surface back to top condition.
In this demonstration you can see the techniques used in the 1st step of taping in. Tip No # 349 - Dont use mesh tape for this kind of crack = useless.
I use salt in my plaster to make it go off faster so i can coat twice with the same mix of compound. Saves me time & money
