Description from the creator

The Channel Balance is a newer window load setup on homes with Andersen and Pella windows. It is on the left and right sides of an XO (non-tilt) window.

When my first window in my home failed due to a channel balance issue, I had difficulty finding a solution. After researching for several days, I finally figured out the name of the item I needed to purchase to repair my window and where I should buy it. There seem to be many types of tension, size, and endpoint connectors.

So, I thought this video may help to show the problems with the channel balance and how to repair it. Of course, you can always reach out to the window folks, and they may charge a sum of dollars to fix it for you.

For those folks looking for a part, here's the one I found helpful in their support and selection. Note: It's easy to buy the wrong one, so reference the broken one before purchasing.

I really hope this helps someone out there. I had some bad video filming angles; pardon me for not having the best video.

I would appreciate a thumbs-up so others can view this video. Please leave a comment to help others. Thanks.
