Breakdown of how to get affiliate marketers to promote you:

Step1: Build up an audience on your own first. This could be through a Facebook group, YouTube channel, or very nicely created blog post.

You should spend at least 1 year focusing on this, because your audience is what gives you negotiation power. Once you have this, it will be much easier for you to make deals.

Step 2: Take your audience and start building your email list with it. Your email list is a great way to drive sales to yours and other peoples products. I use Clickfunnels to build my email optin pages for high conversion rates, and GetResponse to send me emails as my email service provider.

Step 3: Start networking - with a new email list, you have something to bring to the table for prospective affiliates. It's usually a "What's in it for me" kind of deal. You have to do for them if you want them to do for you. You promote their products and they promote yours.
