How to get the at symbol back on your keyboard.

Over the years I've struggled with this one. Sometimes when you try to send an email you get this " character instead of the @ symbol. This is a keyboard switch that is easily fixed by pressing the Ctrl and Shift keys at the same time. See video for example. Shift 2. How to get the @ symbol back on your keyboard.

This works for how to type @ on laptop as well as how to get the @ symbol on your PC most of the time.

Pardon the messy keyboard, I'm a speciality mechanic and this was the shop keyboard on our equipment work bench
