How to get us number for free for lifetime?

In this guide, I am going through how to get a free US number for your lifetime.
Navigate to Voice.google.com and login with your Google account.
One thing to keep in mind for the first time is you need non-VOIP US number, if you are in the US you will have your own, if you are outside the US, then probably ask any of your friends or family for this one time activation. If you activated it using someone's number, don't forget to detach it from your account once activated.
Note: This number can not be used for Emergency calling services like 911 or 411; and keep in mind, if you don't use it for continuous 90 days, Google will drop out your number and reassign to the available pool of the numbers(at least once, either text or call/incoming or outgoing is sufficient to keep is active)
