How to grow a Clematis in containers

Here I show how I am growing a clematis in a container, they are wonderful climbers with beautiful flowers and they can be grown in pots and containers. This is variety Montana Rubens and will have beautiful purple flowers one day. Different colours are available and there are now some interesting dwarf varieties as well. I show the growing medium I am using and its advisable to use as large a pot as possible. These pots are 30-35 litres and about 16-18 inches wide.
