Our Hunting land has acidic soil and we try and try again to get food plots started and have had some luck - however, we need more rain. We thought about it and realized Oak Tree's and Persimmon Tree's would provide food sources naturally to attract the wildlife on to our land. We are all about saving money - so we are growing our tree's from seeds picked up off the ground - some of what we cover in our first webisode of Expedition Wilderness. Check it out~ it is amazing watching these acorns grow into trees! The sawtooth is expected to produce acorns in three years.
