Description from the creator

This video is designed to be informative, but all driving and harnessing should still be done under professional supervision.

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS:
1) Always attach the girth before the crupper so that the saddle is secured in case the horse spooks.
2) Never have any long pieces of leather dragging on the ground as the horse may step on them.
3) Loop excess breeching into its keepers to make the loops shown, which should be small enough that the horse cannot get a foot through.
4) Always have a way to contain your horse.
5) We put the collar on first so that it can warm up so that when the horse begins work it is not as stiff. The bridle should go on last for safety purposes, but if needed a second person can hold the horse if bridled for the rest of the harnessing process.

Fit of the Harness:
1) The breeching should lie parallel to the ground and sit between the point of buttock and the stifle.
2) The saddle should be positioned at the lowest point of the withers so that it does not cause discomfort.

Other types of Harnesses:
1) Breast collar - a two piece system that sits between the horses point of shoulder and the base of the neck. Can be put on over the head or piece-by-piece.
2) Full collar - a single piece similar to the empathy collar, goes on in a similar fashion to the empathy collar.
