My very first video- the beginning of InstrumentManiac! I was in high school here and had noticed no one had made a video about this on YouTube yet. Here is the original description:

These are a few tips that have helped me prevent squeaks although not fool-proof it helps.

This method is what worked for my clarinet with my reed and with my mouthpiece, I tried the other "correct" methods people were talking about and I got onslaughts of squeaks so if you disagree with my reasoning then I insist that you find another video, but if you are curious just give my method a try.
