All yellowblue Solar Powered Attic Fans are fully functional right out of the box. The fan blade will begin to operate as soon as it is exposed to the sun. Please keep hands and tools away from the blade during the installation. Always use caution when using tools and walking on roofs when installing Solar Powered Attic Fans. Do not cut any structural members in the house.

When determining the location the Solar Attic Fan, try to find a location on the south side of the roof and consider potential problems such as shading from large objects.
