This is a little different project than usual, but I am helping some friends of mine insulate their attic door.
A lot of older two story homes have a walk up attic door, but these are hard to insulate and let a ton of cold (or hot) air directly into the living space.
So, here's one way to solve that problem. It may not apply to every situation, but hopefully it can give you some ideas to help save some money on energy bills and make your home more comfortable.
