How To Jump A Horse
ChannelKatie CokerDescription from the creator
This video was done for a speech project. The topic of the speech project was a demonstration.
Being an equestrian for 11 years and riding competitively for 7 years I picked how to jump a horse because it was something I know how to do and instruct.
This is my horse Give Me a Chance, barn name Chance, who just turned five! He's 14.2 so he's a large pony small horse. He's a Welsh Section B cross Quarter Horse. He's my boy, I love this pony. I've had him since he was a year old. I've trained him myself mostly but with the help of two other trainers. This was a homemade jump and I measured it's 3ft. His first show will be May 11th,2013 at the Music City Riding Academy in Antioch,TN.
I love to hear advice from others on how my horse and I can improve. Please be positive. I'm not Olympic quality. My heels weren't down far enough so my leg did swing back at the very end of the jump. The reason is they're too long and I've already rolled them once. I know I need to work on that, so please don't comment on my legs in this video.
Thank you for watching! This is my GooglePlus account and my actual YouTube account is MySummerRide and I have a few other horse related videos. Thanks so much for watching, commenting, liking, and sharing! :)
Have a nice day!
