How to Knit: Decrease (Right Leaning)

In this easy to follow knitting tutorial we will show you all you need to know to decrease stitches in your knitting. This decrease leans to the right, and is often called a 'knit two together'. It is sometimes abbreviated to 'k2tog'. This is the easiest and most common knitted decrease.

Learning how to work a decrease will take your knitting to the next level! Decreases help shape knitted fabric. It is used to shape the top of a hat or sleeve.
