A video demonstration showing how to perform preventative maintenance on your snowblower's auger drive protection system.
Given that winter common consists of snow, ice and corrosive salts that rust can very quickly set in and "fuse" an auger to an auger drive shaft which prevents the free rotation of the augers on the shaft when a shear pin or bolt breaks. The idea behind my video is to ensure that snowblower owners are able to ensure that the auger protection system continue to work as expected and to prolong the overall life of your snowblowing equipment.
