How to Make a Clover Flower Necklace by Denise Mathew

I was at the garden centre today picking up my summer flowers when I started thinking about the flower projects that I've already done and I realized that I had flower rings and earring projects but no flower necklace project, so here it is. This tutorial is a great way to revive a broken chain, or it can also be a way to dress up a plain chain. Like most tutorials I do, this project is versatile. You can make it long, short, have short or long lengths of chain between flowers, and you can use crystals or gemstone beads and even turn it into a bracelet.
For the project in the video I used 24, 3 mm faceted garnet round beads, about 12 inches of gold chain, 1 1/2 feet of 26 gauge gold wire, a clasp and a chain tag with 2 jump rings and the finished length of the necklace worked out to be 18 inches. For the other project I used 24, 3mm round malachite beads, 1 1/2, 26 gauge wire, 12 inches silver chain, 2 jump rings and a clasp and tag closure, the finished necklace was 18 inches.
