I am the lucky person who gets to decorate for all occasions at work! Yay/Boo! This year, we got a new Christmas tree - 12 feet! Decorating this giant, I knew I had to go BIG or go HOME!

The box of 100 ornaments were not going to be enough. I had a couple rolls of red mesh at home and I am The Creative Lady. . . so I decided to DIY some large poly deco mesh bows.

I usually decorate the 7.5 footer the Monday after Thanksgiving. Because the new tree was so huge, I got started early and started on this one the Monday BEFORE Thanksgiving. Since there were just a few students at school, I was able to enlist their help.

I showed the students the exact technique that you will see in this video. The bows were a rave hit! The decor received mass praises. I had to tell people that the students created the bows. I heard that my supervisor even gave me a shout out on his popular Facebook page! (I had to hear about it cuz y'all know I will NOT be following my supervisors and co-workers on social media - BAD IDEA! lol
