I named this Theo's Castle, after my youngest son.

Today I take you on a tour of one of my earlier pre-video woodworking projects. This is a "kit" of pieces that your child can use to build themselves a castle. The beauty of this project is that, like lego or other construction toys, they can build and re-build the castle in whatever shape their imagination provides.

You, the builder, can build as many or as few of the parts as you choose. And you can add on to the kit, by making more parts, to make it grow to match the imagination of your child.

The pieces are sized to work with easily-available Playmobil figures.

Please note, this is not a build video! I've been woodworking for 20 years, but only producing video for about one year. Therefore I have a lot of projects that I built in the pre-video days. Every now and then I may pause and make a "show-and-tell" video of one of those pre-video projects that I think is notable.
